Baby has a play mate, Bertie, a needy but loveable series 2A - Rog wanted a winter project and I needed a vehicle......ta da. I'm a happy camper, I'll get to play soon too.

Yesterday I stole the battery
Yesterday I stole the battery out of beefy (the disco) & put some fuel in bertie to see if she'd turn over.
I primed the fuel lines because she was as dry as a bone. The first fuel to reach the inline filter was a bit rusty so I discarded that!
After about 20 seconds on the key & a little throttle she fired up but wouldn't tick over. A few adjustments & she was purring away.
So I wondered.... is the clutch free? Yep, straight into gear (reverse!) then anouther gear & I was off for a jaunt around the garden. Woohoo

Oh....I had wondered where he'd been for the last 3 months!! At least if I have a project in the garden too we can at least see each other over the bonnet hoods. Looking forward to getting started - anyone out there fancy getting involved in the lil project then give me a shout.
