Hi Folks, We are off to the Spanish side of the Pyrenees in a few weeks time - despite googling we cannot find any information on off road/4x4 routes in Spain - other than holiday tours that cost a bomb! If anyone has had any experience or knows where we can find a website giving information on where you can and cannot go off road it would be appreciated.

Pyrenees Off Road and Google Earth
Having found our Spanish campsite on Google Earth I located various photographs at the top of mountains! I then input the Lat/Long into TomTom and it showed the nearest track. This method worked OK, however 8/10 tracks were locked and had 'Authorised Access Only'. We did find some tracks that weren't locked and they were great fun.

Pyrenees - off road
Hi Rog, I will try some forums and see what turns up! However I have used Google Earth to locate our campsite and looked at the photographs of various mountains - I have then input the lat,longs into TomTom and plotted a route. The route asks do you want to avoid unpaved roads!! Of course not!! Having done this I have found 8 or 9 off-road routes in the area of our campsite. I will let you know how we get on and if the systems works OK.
