Events Calendar

Some of you may be aware of the problems with our current server but it meant the removal of our events calendar to keep the site working.
Anyway, it shouldn't be much longer, we're nearly there.
In the meantime to try to ease the amount of emails I get asking when the next event is....
7th Feb 2010 @ Bransgore (RTV)+50° 46' 49.57", -1° 43' 14.87"
7th March 2010 @ Somerley (driving Day)see advert.

Dear Rog,
Sorry, apologies for the April date, but I will be out of the country.

You all told me that the TC/TD5 was no good, so obviously, I have now sold it and am looking for an older vehicle to do trials. I listen to the great wisdom around the field! The newer vehicles cannot do the club trials without incurring damage. I have always driven very carefully on the trials and avoided the worst damage. The downside is that I have missed a few points!

Anyway, watch this space.

Ex T.C.

Robin, that was a surprise, I hope you got a good price for it.
I can understand your concern though, this is why I don't do trialing.
I did a driver training day last year with LRO Club run by Vince Cobley and one of the tips he gave us was,if it was likely that your vehicle was going to get scratched ,plaster it with Autoglym first -it works well up to a point, because it's so slippery all you have to do afterwards is buff it up.When it comes to the bigger bits your cheapest option is-go and buy a saw.
All very well for greenlaning but trialling can seriously damage your wallet,I'll stay a supporter instead.

P.S.The TC on my TD5 is amazing, especially in Wales and Salisbury plain.

Regards Jim

Oh contrare!

Robin

The TC system should work really well (it certainly does on Jan's Disco II). I dont blame you for wanting an older truck though as I wouldn't want to scratch the 02 vehicle either. I'm mad(!) but I wouldn't want to push through thick foliage with something so tidy.

If you want to buy a very successful 200Tdi 90 with loads of provenance mine is for sale?
