I’ve been considering the option of taking the lightweight to trials on a trailer. Would it still need road tax to complete in trials?

Rich, when in '73 was your truck registered............. cos the free tax situation applies to vehicles BUILT in 1972 and before........ so if you were able to prove by means of a build certificate that it was built before 1st Jan 1973 then you can apply for tax free status........!!!
I would suggest that if it was registered in the first few months of 73, then chances are it would be eligible!!!!
Tax exempt ?
Hi i have a book that has info to work out when your truck was made either from the vin no or the army number plate .happy to look it up for you.mike
