The Axminster trial was the absolute limit for a smart Defender and I spent most of the trials avoiding tree branches and tree roots. I have always liked the trip to Axminster and I introduced Andy Baker to the site and the club. I hope he joins when he gets his RR/series hybrid finished
Lets hope Mannington is as good as we all remember it

Hi Robin, Axminster does get overgrown very quickly. We did a huge amount of trimming on the Saturday to keep the contact down to a minimum. It must be a worry driving such a lovely 90.
As always, we'll bear it in mind when setting up.
