I hope this doesn't affect our use of the Portsham site

I see from the BBC local website that 290 acres of land around Hardy's Monument have been brought by Dorset County Council. I hope it doesn't affect our use of the Portsham Trial site. I note especially the line "The work will involve improving public access, creating learning opportunities and promoting recreation such as walking, picnics and enjoying its views and tranquillity - a source of inspiration for art and poetry." absoulutely no mention of Off roading anyware.

It looks like it's just the

It looks like it's just the forestry land above the site. the site itself is privately owned & shouldn't be affected.

With all the cut backs I'm very suprised the council have any money to buy land with!!! Maybe they'll have to sell it on!?

If they have to sell it

If they have to sell it on.... we should have a wip round!!!

Would be great to own a chunk of land to be able to do whatever you want with eh!!! esp if it has some trees!!!!!!!!!
